Brooke was born in Portland and completed her schooling locally before completing a Law Degree at Flinders University in Adelaide.
Having always appreciated the advantages of living in the country, Brooke determined to work locally completing her Articles of Clerkship in Warrnambool. After being admitted to practice in March 1999 and working as a solicitor in Warrnambool for a number of years, Brooke decided to travel overseas on a working holiday. During this period, Brooke was employed by local Boroughs in London exercising her legal knowledge in child protection and adoption matters.
Returning to Portland in late 2003, Brooke practiced locally until she became a director of Drew Gleeson Legal at its formation in August 2007. During her practicing career, Brooke has worked in the fields of family law, family violence, child protection and criminal law. Brooke now works predominantly in family law. Through her calm and caring approach, together with her expertise and experience in this area, Brooke has helped numerous clients navigate this often over-whelming process. She works closely with her clients to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge they require to achieve a fair, timely and cost-effective outcome.
Brooke is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
Being a local, Brooke is committed to the local community. She has a particular interest in education and has served on various kindergarten and school committees. Brooke currently works part-time, balancing work commitments and being a busy mum to two beautiful girls.
