Paul Drew

Director

Paul grew up in regional Victoria before studying law at Monash University in Melbourne.

Paul moved to Portland in 1996, commencing his legal career with Stringer Clark Solicitors, and has lived and worked in the Portland district ever since. He established Drew Gleeson Legal with his fellow directors in 2007. He is experienced in a number of different areas of law but now practices predominantly in the area of personal injuries litigation. Paul’s direct, practical and tenacious style has won compensation for many injured people. He has run significant cases in the workers compensation, transport accident, asbestos exposure, medical negligence and public liability jurisdictions. He also has made many disablement claims on behalf of injured workers through their superannuation funds.

He enjoys representing working people and understands the difficulties that can arise when a person suffers a life changing injury or illness.

Paul is heavily invested in his local community, having held numerous positions with local sporting clubs and associations, as well as school and education and training organizations. He is a long-term member of the South West Trades and Labour Council and a Life Member of the South Portland Cricket Club.

Other interests include running, music, travel, reading and enjoying the great outdoors. However, most of his spare time is spent running around after his three sons.

Paul is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Australian Lawyers Alliance.
